??????????? ในน้ำนมแม่จะมีโปรตีนที่เรียกว่า แฮพโตคอริน (Haptocorrin หรือ transcobalamin II) โปรตีนนี้พบในปริมาณน้อยในน้ำนม มีหน้าที่สำคัญในการจับกับวิตามินบี 121 โดยเมื่อจับกับวิตามินบี 12 จะมีฤทธิ์ในการต้านการติดเชื้อ2,3 นอกจากนี้แฮพโตคอริน (Haptocorrin หรือ transcobalamin II) ยังกระตุ้นการดูดซึมของวิตามินบี 12 ในลำไส้ด้วย1
